SCHROEPPEL — State Police responded to a vehicle crash at 1:28 a.m. June 30 in the area of 296 Biddlecum Road.

Troopers found a red vehicle north of Biddlecum Road down what appeared to be a private driveway.

The driver was identified as Geoffrey K. Mann, 33, of Fulton.

Mann told troopers he was operating the vehicle and was not paying attention when he drove through a T intersection.

Investigation determined Mann was operating a 2017 Dodge SUV north when he failed to stop and proceeded through the intersection of Barnard Road and Biddlecum Road.

The vehicle continued north on a private driveway and traveled approximately 150 feet before striking an earth embankment and a tree.

The crash caused the vehicle to become damaged and disabled.

Troopers noted signs of possible intoxication while interviewing Mann.

Mann was administered standardized field sobriety testing, which he failed.

Mann was arrested and transported to State Police Fulton, where he provided a breath test sample of 0.24% blood alcohol content.

Mann was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated first offense, aggravated unlicensed operation third degree, operating without a license and moved from lane unsafely.

Mann was released with appearance tickets returnable to Schroeppel Town Court at a later date.
