WESTBROOK — Six people were arrested after Westbrook police seized approximately 61 grams of fentanyl and 23 grams of methamphetamine during a drug investigation last Tuesday evening.
An officer on patrol spotted suspected drug activity at a residence on Brackett Street and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle associated with the activity, according to the Westbrook Police Department.
Illegal drugs were found in the vehicle, leading officers and a drug agent to the Brackett Street residence.
At the residence, officers found several people and illegal drugs, and acted quickly to prevent one person from attempting to destroy evidence, police said.
Sara Dymond, 46, of Westbrook, was charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release.
Police said Dymond was on seven sets of bail at the time of the incident.
Christopher Cavallaro, 45, of Scarborough, was charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release.
Cavallaro was on two sets of bail at the time, according to police.
Saddiq Ali, 32, of Portland, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, failure to provide correct name and violation of conditions of release.
Ali was on three sets of bail and had an unrelated arrest warrant, police said.
Daniel Beausang, 37, of Portland, was charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
Jordan Madsen, 26, listed as transient, was charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
Erica Mathies, 25, of Standish, was charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
