UTICA — A 47-year-old Utica man was arrested Friday on multiple drug charges after police found more than 300 grams of cocaine during a vehicle stop.
Julius Peak was taken into custody by investigators from the Special Investigations Unit who were executing a warrant related to an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The arrest occurred during a vehicle stop after investigators located Peak, who was the target of their investigation.
Peak was transported to the Utica Police Department and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, and four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.
