MANCHESTER — Manchester Police arrested a 40-year-old Londonderry man at a local hotel June 28 following a violation of a bail protection order.

Police responded to the Comfort Inn at 298 Queen City Ave at approximately 10:30 a.m. after learning Ludwig Haken was in a hotel room with a female.

Officers made announcements outside the door, identifying themselves and asking Haken to come to the door.

He did not comply.

Concerned that Haken may be armed, officers backed away from the door and called SWAT to the scene.

Haken was later taken into custody and charged with stalking and resisting arrest.

The female was not harmed.

Haken was scheduled for arraignment June 30.
