MANCHESTER — Police are investigating an attempted strong-armed robbery that left an elderly man hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. June 30 in the area of 20 Market St.
Police said a suspect attempted to rob an elderly man who was walking in the area.
During the encounter, the suspect shoved the man, causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police described the suspect as a white female in her 40s with dark blond hair.
She was wearing a blue shirt and shorts and carrying a black backpack.
