NEW LONDON — Three men were stabbed during a disturbance at Ocean Beach Park on Sunday evening, police said.
New London police responded to the park at 98 Neptune Ave. at approximately 5:35 p.m. for reports of an active physical disturbance and stabbing victims.
Officers found three male victims with stab wounds upon arrival.
All three victims were initially transported to L+M Hospital for medical treatment.
Two of the victims sustained wounds that did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
The third victim sustained a serious wound and was transported to another hospital.
Police secured the scene and established a perimeter while members of the Investigative Services Division collected evidence.
The incident does not appear to be a random act, according to police.
The investigation remains active.
