SCITUATE — Troopers arrested a Central Falls, Rhode Island man Wednesday afternoon on charges of eluding police and obstruction.
Yersonn Marte Trinidad, 32, of 133 Cleveland Street, Apartment #2, was taken into custody at 1:39 p.m. at the State Police Scituate Barracks.
Trinidad faces charges of eluding police in a high-speed pursuit as a first offense and obstructing a police officer in execution of duty.
The arrest resulted from a barracks investigation with assistance from the Lincoln Police Department in locating the suspect.
Trinidad was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace at the Scituate Barracks and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
