DEER PARK — Suffolk County Police Department’s Street Takeover Task Force arrested four people and impounded five vehicles in less than 24 hours over the weekend.
A 21-year-old Coram man was arrested Friday evening and his 2004 Infiniti was seized, stemming from an incident that occurred five days earlier when the man fled police as they attempted to pull him over for speeding and driving recklessly.
On Saturday, three people were arrested and four vehicles seized after the task force responded to a 911 call about a takeover on Long Island Avenue and Commack Road in Deer Park.
