RYEGATE — A 20-year-old man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent following a citizen dispute report Thursday night.
Connor Bogie of Ryegate was taken into custody at approximately 11:04 p.m. June 26 after Vermont State Police received a report of a dispute near Stone Road.
The caller reported that Bogie had taken a vehicle from her property without permission and was believed to be intoxicated.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks located the vehicle and observed Bogie operating it.
A traffic stop was initiated.
During the investigation, Bogie displayed signs of impairment and was screened for DUI.
Bogie was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
He was later released with a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court.
