Providence man charged with murder in Pawtucket shooting

PAWTUCKET — A Providence man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred June 24 at 175 Broad Street.

Kenji Ingram, 47, of Providence, was arrested by Pawtucket Police detectives with assistance from the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office for the shooting death of Larry Rose, 42, of Pawtucket.

Ingram was arraigned in 6th District Court in Providence and held without bail.

In addition to first-degree murder, Ingram faces charges of discharging a firearm when committing a crime of violence, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person who has been convicted, carrying a pistol without a license, and firing in a compact area.

He also faces drug-related charges including manufacture, sale or possession with intent to manufacture or sell Schedule I and II cocaine, and manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver Schedule I and II controlled substances.

Ingram was also charged with disorderly conduct.
