MAMARONECK — The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department received a call at 8:17 a.m. Friday that ICE agents were in the village conducting an investigation and making arrests near Columbus Park.
Detectives responded and canvassed the area, gathering information that confirmed ICE agents were present earlier in the morning.
The agents conducted an investigation regarding a specific individual with criminal convictions who is undocumented, but that person was not located.
A different individual was arrested at 516 Van Ranst Pl. who also had a criminal conviction and was undocumented.
The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department was not involved in or did not assist ICE in either investigation.
