CLIFTON — Troop B – Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team charged Jordan M. White, 32, of Tupper Lake, with multiple charges including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree (a class B felony) on June 25.
After observing traffic violations, members of the New York State Police and St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the town of Clifton.
White, the sole occupant, was observed to be impaired, resulting in officers conducting a failed standard field sobriety test.
Further investigation prompted a probable cause search resulting in the discovery of approximately 380 bags of fentanyl and a small amount of crack cocaine.
She was subsequently arrested and transported to the State Police station in Star Lake for processing.
After being arraigned at Gouverneur Town Court, she was released on her own recognizance.
