WEST GREENWICH — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Providence man early Thursday on charges of obstructing an officer and driving with an expired license.
Troopers arrested Tyreke Stone, 37, of 23 Sassafras Street, Providence, at 12:25 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop on Route 95.
Stone was charged with obstructing an officer in execution of duty and driving with expired or without license, fourth-plus offense.
He was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
Stone was released with a future Third Division District Court date.
