Highland woman charged with stealing $10,000 from AutoZone

HIGHLAND — A 37-year-old Highland woman has been charged with grand larceny after allegedly stealing more than $10,000 in cash from the AutoZone store where she worked.

Patricia A. Bynum was arrested June 22 and charged with grand larceny in the third degree, according to the Town of Lloyd Police.

Police say Bynum stole the cash from the Highland AutoZone store where she was employed.

Bynum was released on an appearance ticket and was scheduled to appear in Town of Lloyd Court on June 24.

In separate arrests, police also took Claudio M. Gomez, 27, of Poughkeepsie, into custody June 27 on a bench warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree from the New York State Police.

Gomez was turned over to state police on the warrant.

Tyler J. Clark, 31, of Highland, was arrested June 18 on a bench warrant for petit larceny.

Clark was transported to Ulster County Jail for arraignment in Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
