FRAMINGHAM — A 17-year-old male was arrested by police working a detail at St. Stephen’s Carnival after staff reported he had returned to the event despite being previously removed.

Officers discovered a loaded Glock 17 handgun with 22 rounds in the juvenile’s fanny pack while attempting to detain him.

The teen is scheduled to appear in court next month on charges stemming from an earlier incident in which he allegedly brandished a firearm at a group of juveniles.

He has been charged with possession of a large capacity firearm, disorderly conduct, possession of ammunition without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and trespassing.
