JOHNSTON — Troopers arrested Karen Artegian, 47, of 139 Foster Center Road, Foster, following a motor vehicle accident on Route 6 on Jan. 15.
Artegian was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense, according to Rhode Island State Police.
The blood alcohol content was unknown.
Artegian was transported to the State Police Scituate Barracks where she was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
She was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
