WALLINGFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a 61-year-old Wallingford man Thursday on an extraditable warrant from Massachusetts.
William Mann was taken into custody at approximately 11:52 a.m. at the Family Dollar store in Wallingford after troopers from the Rutland Barracks were notified of the outstanding warrant.
The original charge stems from assault and battery on a child under the age of 14 in Massachusetts.
Mann was transported to the State Police Barracks in Rutland for processing.
Following processing, Mann was taken to Marble Valley Correction Facility where he is being held on $25,000 bail.
