LANSING — New York State Police arrested Anthony J. Morehouse, 46, of Ithaca, on June 24 on multiple charges related to outstanding arrest warrants.
Troopers charged Morehouse with robbery in the third degree, a class D felony.
He was also charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor.
The charges stem from an incident on December 8, 2024, when troopers responded to a reported domestic dispute at a bar on North Triphammer Road in Lansing.
Police said the dispute became physical, and Morehouse allegedly took a victim’s cell phone, air pods, and cigarettes, and prevented the victim from calling 911.
Investigators said Morehouse also violated an order of protection by making physical contact with the victim.
Morehouse was located at a local motel in Lansing on June 24 and taken into custody without incident.
He was transported to the Tompkins County Jail for centralized arraignment.
