GREENVILLE — At approximately 9:56 p.m. on June 23, troopers from the New York State Police Coxsackie barracks responded to a residence on Spring Valley Road in the Town of Greenville to assist New York State Parole officers during a home visit.
Parole officers were conducting a compliance check on Allison Aguiar, 43, of Hannacroix, who is currently under parole supervision and classified as an inmate.
During the visit, parole officers observed illegal narcotics in plain view inside the residence and contacted State Police.
Troopers arrived and conducted a search, seizing approximately 35 grams of crack cocaine, 0.80 grams of Suboxone, 0.005 grams of Clonazepam, digital scales, and additional drug-related paraphernalia.
Aguiar was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both Class B felonies, and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, both Class A misdemeanors.
She was also charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree and manufacture of drug-related paraphernalia, both Class A misdemeanors, and possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation.
Aguiar was taken into custody without incident and processed at the State Police barracks.
She was transported to Greenville Town Court for arraignment and released on her own recognizance.
Aguiar is scheduled to appear in Greenville Town Court on July 16 at 4 p.m.
