Albany police investigate I-90 incident after person falls from moving vehicle

ALBANY — State Police responded at about 9:40 a.m. June 22 to reports of a person who fell from a moving vehicle on I-90 in Albany.

Troopers determined the individual, who was a passenger in the vehicle, had been involved in a verbal altercation with Camerson K. Conery, 36, of Albany, who was driving.

During the argument, the passenger exited the moving vehicle, struck the roadway and sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The injured individual was transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment and remains hospitalized.

During the investigation, troopers arrested Conery for driving while ability impaired by drugs and another vehicle and traffic law violation.

Conery was transported to SP Latham for processing, where he refused to provide a sample to determine the drug content of his blood.

The investigation also revealed Conery had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years.

Conery was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Albany City Court on June 26 and released to a sober third party.
