DUXBURY — A Waterbury woman has been charged with embezzling funds from a Duxbury property management business over a four-year period.

Leighann Ravelin, 44, was cited June 24 on charges of embezzlement, identity theft, false personation and false pretenses, according to Vermont State Police.

The investigation began July 29, 2024, when Tyler Fisk, 41, of Duxbury contacted state police about possible embezzlement from his business, Go Time Property Management.

Police said their investigation revealed Ravelin obtained a loan intended for Fisk’s business.

From the end of 2020 to the end of 2024, Ravelin moved and spent the funds through her personal accounts, according to police.

Ravelin also opened a credit card in Fisk’s name, police said.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police barracks in Berlin cited Ravelin into Washington County Superior Court.

Ravelin is scheduled to appear in court July 17 at 8:30 a.m.
