SPRINGFIELD — A 24-year-old North Springfield woman was charged with driving under the influence after crashing her vehicle into a ditch Friday night.
Ashley Quelch was arrested at 11:43 p.m. June 13 following a single-vehicle crash on Reservoir Road near Pierce Road.
Officers responded to reports of a vehicle crashed in a ditch and found a silver Nissan Sentra on the side of Reservoir Road.
Police identified Quelch as the operator of the vehicle.
After investigation, officers determined Quelch allegedly operated the motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Quelch was taken into custody without incident.
She was processed and issued a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, on July 1 at 8:30 a.m.
The incident was investigated by Officers Lewis-Briere, Franchi and Singleton.
