PUTNEY — A 41-year-old woman was arrested on multiple charges including petit larceny and providing false information to law enforcement.
Kalah Gharouni was taken into custody at a residence on South Pine Banks Road following an investigation by Windham County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
Deputies Thomas Raymond and Jacob Cohen had been pursuing leads in multiple ongoing cases within Windham County.
Through extensive investigation, deputies identified Gharouni as the perpetrator in the cases.
Gharouni was also found to have an active instate arrest warrant.
She was transported to the Windham County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
Gharouni was then transported to Southern State Correctional Facility and held in lieu of $200 bail.
The charges against Gharouni include petit larceny, false information to a law enforcement officer, and arrest on instate warrant.
Court dates are scheduled for April 18 and June 3.
