Boston police seek 2 suspects in Boylston Street sunglasses theft

BOSTON — Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify two suspects involved in a larceny that occurred on Friday, May 23, at about 5:10 p.m. in the area of 800 Boylston Street at Sunglass Hut.

The suspects stole six pairs of sunglasses valued at $4,500, according to the Boston Police Department.

The first suspect is described as a Black male with a heavy build, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 30-40 years old, wearing a black hoodie and olive boots.

The second suspect is described as a Black female, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, 30-40 years old, wearing a green cardigan, light green pants, and black and white sneakers.

Police are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
