Woodstock man arrested on disorderly conduct charge at inn

WOODSTOCK — A 49-year-old man was arrested on disorderly conduct charges after causing a disturbance at the Woodstock Inn on June 21.

Jeremy I. Compton was taken into custody at approximately 10 p.m. after police responded to reports of an intoxicated male disturbing guests and employees at 14 The Green.

Officer Arora found Compton highly intoxicated and aggressive toward officers and staff upon arrival.

Inn employees had given Compton several warnings to leave the property, which he refused to comply with, according to police.

Compton was cited to appear at Woodstock Court to answer the disorderly conduct charge.

Officer Arora was assisted by Windsor County Sheriff’s Deputy Buchanan and Sheriff Palmer.
