Wickford police arrest 3 in separate incidents

WICKFORD — Troopers arrested Matthew King, age 18, of 220 Heritage Drive, North Kingstown at 9:50 a.m. for reckless driving.

The arrest was the result of troopers responding to a multi-car motor vehicle accident on Route 95 South in the City of Warwick.

King was transported to Hospital for evaluation, and once cleared he was then transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before Justice of Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court date.

At 10:20 p.m., troopers arrested Valmer Morales Morales, age 40, of 2 Laura Lane, Norton, Massachusetts for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs – B.A.C. unknown – first offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 in the Town of North Kingstown.

Morales was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

At 3:00 a.m., troopers arrested Kyandra Archambault, age 31, of 14 Park Street, Newport for possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance – 10 grams or less and weapons other than firearms prohibited.

The arrest was a result of a barracks investigation by troopers and Providence Police Department subsequently taking Archambault into custody.

Archambault was transported to State Police – Headquarters where she was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Second Division District Court where she will be presented as a probation violator.
