STERLING — A 36-year-old was arrested June 21 on domestic-related charges after allegedly violating a stay-away order of protection.
Jody Labelle was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor, and aggravated family offense, a class E felony, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to Sterling Pines Trailer Park at around 10:28 p.m. for a domestic incident.
During the investigation, deputies determined that Labelle was in violation of a full stay-away order of protection.
Deputies also determined that Labelle had previously been convicted of violating the same order of protection and was currently on probation.
Labelle was arrested at around 10:46 p.m. and processed.
He was held for CAP Court where he was remanded without bail.
