SOUTHPORT — Cory D. Whitehair, 49, of Southport was arrested June 23 for criminal mischief in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor, and harassment in the 2nd degree, a violation, after a domestic incident.
Whitehair was arraigned by Southport Town Court, where an order of protection was issued, and he was released.
Whitehair was arrested again later that night for criminal contempt in the 1st degree, a class E felony, and menacing in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, after violating the order of protection.
He was arraigned by Ashland Town Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of bail.
