RICHFORD — Vermont State Police troopers executed a search warrant at a School Street residence June 23 at approximately 6 p.m. to arrest a 42-year-old man wanted on multiple warrants.
Rene Robitaille of Richford was arrested by troopers from the St. Albans Barracks who knew he had active warrants for his arrest.
The warrants were for felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felony second degree aggravated domestic assault with prior conviction, and misdemeanor eluding law enforcement.
Robitaille was transported to Northwest State Correctional Facility in St. Albans where he was held on $5,400 bail.
He was issued a citation ordering him to appear before Franklin County Criminal Court June 24 at 1 p.m.
