PROVIDENCE — A 19-year-old Providence man was arrested Friday on multiple assault and weapons charges by members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Wilken Jean, of 104 Vinton Street, was taken into custody without incident on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Providence Police Department.
Jean faces charges including three counts of felony assault with a dangerous weapon, using a firearm while committing a crime of violence, license or permit for carrying a pistol, firing in a compact area, and simple assault.
He was transported to the Providence Police Department following his arrest.
