HOMER — A 19-year-old McGraw man was arrested June 18 on petit larceny charges after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Homer convenience store.
Kobe R. Tetreault of Clinton Street was taken into custody at approximately 7:06 p.m. on Bartlett Avenue following an incident at Joe’s Kwik Mart at 31 South West Street.
Homer Police Department officers responded to a report of a larceny in progress at the convenience store.
Officers worked with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police to investigate the incident.
Police determined that Tetreault had stolen merchandise from the store and discarded it in the area.
The stolen merchandise was recovered by police.
Tetreault was processed and released June 24 on an appearance ticket.
He is scheduled to appear in Town of Homer Court on July 15 at 5 p.m.
