LAWRENCE — An individual wanted on multiple active warrants, including assault with a dangerous weapon and several motor vehicle violations, was taken into custody Monday by the Lawrence Police Department.
The department’s Gang Unit, having prior knowledge of the outstanding warrants, coordinated with additional police units to carry out the arrest safely and without incident.
