HARFORD — A 25-year-old motorcyclist died Monday morning after striking a deer on State Route 38 in the Town of Harford.
Dillon Stevens was traveling on State Route 38 at approximately 4:44 a.m. when he struck a deer, causing his motorcycle to overturn, according to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
Stevens was the sole rider on the motorcycle.
He was transported by Dryden Ambulance to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Harford Fire Department, Dryden Ambulance, the Cortland County Coroner’s Office and Ron’s Towing.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate the crash.
