HADLEY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 27-year-old man on domestic violence charges following an incident June 14.
Wilfred J. Terrio IV of Hadley was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, assault in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child, all class A misdemeanors.
Deputies responded to an active domestic incident call at 1:32 p.m. on Rockwell Street.
Terrio is accused of violating an order of protection by assaulting the protected person.
He is also charged with intentionally damaging property belonging to another person by kicking a door.
The incident reportedly occurred in the presence of two minor children.
Terrio was arraigned before Judge Michael T. Woodcock in Corinth Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in Hadley Town Court.
