KENT — New York State Police responded to a serious motor vehicle collision on Interstate 84 westbound in the area of mile marker 61.4 on June 23 at approximately 1:48 p.m.
One person is confirmed deceased at the scene.
Interstate 84 westbound is currently closed as a result of the collision.
Traffic is being diverted off at State Route 311.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and expect significant delays in the area.
