HARTFORD — A 35-year-old Windsor man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence early June 24 after crashing his vehicle on Interstate 89.
Vermont State Police troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to a disabled vehicle on I-89 southbound at mile marker 5.6 at approximately 1:37 a.m.
The operator was identified as Weldon King, 35, of Windsor.
Investigation revealed that King failed to maintain his lane and departed the roadway, striking a delineator near mile marker 10.
Throughout the investigation, King displayed signs of impairment, police said.
King was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Hartford Police Department for processing.
King was issued a citation and released.
