SPRINGFIELD — A 30-year-old woman was charged with assault of a protected professional after allegedly striking a healthcare worker at Springfield Emergency Room early Friday morning.
Police responded to the hospital at about 5:30 a.m. June 6 for a report of a healthcare worker being struck.
The investigation led to probable cause to charge Aunnah R. Guzman with assault of a protected professional, according to the Springfield Police Department.
Sgt. Fitzgibbons and Officer Freeman investigated the incident.
Guzman is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit in Woodstock on July 22 at 8:30 a.m.
