SOUTH WINDSOR — South Windsor police arrested four men on various charges including domestic violence and fraud over the weekend.
On Friday at 12:55 p.m., police arrested Kyreese L. Little-Page, 30, of New Haven, on charges of criminal attempt at larceny in the third degree, identity theft in the third degree and forgery in the first degree.
Police responded to Webster Bank at 1695 Ellington Road for reports of a suspicious male who had tried to cash a fraudulent check for over $4,000.
Little-Page was processed and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, July 9 at 9 a.m.
On Friday at 8:20 p.m., police arrested Louis K. Clayton, 62, of East Hartford, on an active arrest warrant for risk of injury to a child, assault in the first degree of an elderly victim and strangulation/suffocation in the first degree.
Clayton’s charges stem from a domestic violence incident on May 18 when officers responded to a South Windsor residence for reports of an emotionally disturbed person.
Officers found Clayton choking and biting an elderly female victim, causing serious injury, according to police.
A child was present in the residence and may have witnessed the assault, police said.
Clayton was tased and brought under control before being taken to a hospital for evaluation.
He was processed and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Monday at 9 a.m.
On Sunday at 3:36 p.m., police arrested Matthew D. Boucher, 48, of Vernon, on charges of assault in the second degree of an elderly victim and strangulation/suffocation in the second degree.
Officers responded to a South Windsor residence after receiving a report of an assault.
Police determined Boucher had struck the victim in the head and chest with a baseball bat and then used the same bat to choke the victim.
Boucher was processed and released on a $15,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, July 9 at 9 a.m.
On Sunday at 10:22 p.m., police arrested Jason P. Bertrand, 47, of South Windsor, on a charge of disorderly conduct following a domestic violence incident.
Police said Bertrand took the victim’s phone and pushed her against a wall.
Bertrand was issued a misdemeanor summons and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Monday at 9 a.m.
