MILFORD — A 17-year-old Milford male has been charged in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins at a local manufacturing facility earlier this month.

The Milford Police Department responded to Benjamin Moore Manufacturing at 49 Sumner St. on June 2 for reports of multiple larcenies from motor vehicles.

Officers found that three separate vehicles had been entered and items stolen from them.

Video surveillance of the parking lot showed a slender individual wearing a black jacket on a bicycle.

The Milford Police Detective Bureau began investigating the incident on June 3 and learned that credit cards stolen from the vehicles had been used.

An electronic search warrant issued Thursday led to the identification of the 17-year-old suspect.

Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence Friday.

Evidence located during the search led to charges including three counts of larceny under $1,200, credit card fraud under $1,200, three counts of breaking and entering a vehicle at nighttime for felony, and identity fraud.
