Genoa man arrested on trespassing, larceny charges

GENOA — A 24-year-old Glenfield man was arrested on charges of criminal trespass, petit larceny and criminal mischief following an incident at a Maple Street residence.

Austin L. Partridge was taken into custody at 12:37 a.m. June 6 by members of the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the Maple Street address at 11:32 p.m. June 5 for a report of an unwanted male in a residence.

Sheriff Brian Schenck said investigators determined Partridge had entered the residence, caused damage and stolen clothing from the victim.

Partridge was charged with criminal trespass in the second degree, petit larceny and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, all misdemeanors.

He was processed and turned over to Cayuga County Jail for centralized arraignment part court arraignment at 7 a.m. June 6, where a full stay away order of protection was granted.

Partridge is scheduled to appear in Town of Genoa Court at a later date.
