2 injured in Mount Holly crash at Route 103, Route 140 intersection

MOUNT HOLLY — Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Route 103 and Route 140 on June 22 at approximately 12:15 p.m., according to Vermont State Police.

Carol Blaisdell, 24, of Claremont, New Hampshire, was driving a 2008 Subaru Forester eastbound on Route 140 and attempting to turn north onto Route 103.

Kaitlyn Sharp, 19, of East Wallingford, was driving a 2020 Nissan Rogue northbound on Route 103 and attempting to turn west onto Route 140.

Both operators made their respective left turns at the same time, resulting in the collision.

Blaisdell’s passenger was Gary Merrill, 38, of Windsor.

The Subaru sustained minor damage to the right fender.

The Nissan sustained significant damage to the left fender and front left wheel.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

Both operators and the passenger were wearing seat belts.

Road conditions were dry and normal under cloudy skies.

Vermont State Police troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to the crash.

A Vermont Civil Violation Complaint is pending.
