DUDLEY — A 43-year-old man died after his moped collided with a work van Thursday evening on Oxford Avenue.
Dudley police and fire department personnel responded to the crash near 20 Oxford Ave. at approximately 9:23 p.m. June 19.
Officers found a damaged Chevrolet work van and a heavily damaged moped with one occupant who appeared to have critical injuries.
Police attempted lifesaving measures until emergency medical services arrived.
The moped driver was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, where he died from his injuries.
The Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council’s accident reconstruction team is investigating the crash.
The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office is handling inquiries about the incident.
