EAST HAVEN — Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Shell gas station at 227 Saltonstall Parkway at approximately 9:37 p.m.
The suspect entered the store with a large knife and demanded money from the register before fleeing on foot, according to the East Haven Police Department.
The suspect was last seen running through yards near High Street and Sanford Street.
Police are asking residents in the area to check their home surveillance cameras for any footage of the suspect or a possible getaway vehicle.
