Waverly man arrested on grand larceny charge

OWEGO — A Waverly man was arrested June 18 on a felony grand larceny charge after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars using a victim’s bank card.

New York State Police arrested Timothy Davis, 42, for third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony.

Police said the victim reported June 10 that Davis had taken their bank card without permission and spent thousands of dollars from their account.

A trooper contacted Davis, who was then arrested and processed at the State Police barracks in Owego.

Davis was transported to Tioga County Jail for centralized arraignment.
