GILFORD — The New Hampshire State Police is actively investigating an incident on Lake Winnipesaukee involving a missing person.
At 12:48 p.m. Friday, state police Marine Patrol received a report of a person who entered the water from a boat and did not resurface.
Search efforts are currently underway in the area where the person was last seen.
At this time, there is no known threat to the public.
