JOHNSTON — A 75-year-old Johnston man with dementia who was the subject of a Silver Alert has been found dead, police said.
Allan Hill was reported missing earlier and was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes and a long-sleeve gray shirt with a soccer symbol on the front.
Hill was described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair.
The Johnston Police Department said they extend their heartfelt condolences to Hill’s family during this difficult time.
Police thanked the Rhode Island State Police, Scituate Police Department, Hope & Jackson Fire Department, Smithfield Fire Department and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management for their assistance throughout the search.
