BOSTON — A man died Thursday night after being shot in what police believe was an incident that occurred inside a vehicle before it crashed in Roxbury.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot near 163 Ruthven Street at approximately 10:01 p.m. June 19.
Police found an adult male victim outside the location suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigation suggests the shooting may have occurred inside a vehicle that subsequently crashed.
Boston EMS transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives from the Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit are investigating the incident.
