2 arrested in Cortlandville Walmart theft

CORTLANDVILLE — Two Cortland residents were arrested Tuesday afternoon on charges of stealing merchandise from Walmart, according to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.

Semper N. Agor, 21, and Nikolaii E. Agor, 24, both of Rickard Street, were charged with petit larceny and conspiracy in the sixth degree, both misdemeanors.

Officers responded to the Walmart at 819 Bennie Road at approximately 4:10 p.m. June 17 for a reported larceny.

The investigation determined that both defendants stole merchandise from the store.

Both were taken into custody at 4:26 p.m. and transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where they were processed.

They were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear for arraignment in Town of Cortlandville Court on June 30 at 1:00 p.m.
