BROWNINGTON — Vermont State Police arrested a 61-year-old South Burlington woman for driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.
Lisa Elder was taken into custody after the 2:58 p.m. incident on Evansville Road.
Police were notified that a vehicle had crashed and caused damage to a fence and lawn.
Officers detected the odor of intoxicants and observed other indicators of impairment while speaking with Elder.
Elder was transported to the Derby Barracks for processing.
She was later released on a citation to appear in Orleans Superior Court.
