WATERBURY — Members of the Waterbury Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit, Auto Theft Task Force, Gang Task Force and Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force executed two search warrants June 13 at approximately 1 p.m.
The warrants targeted Christopher Brown, 23, of Waterbury, and his residence at 39 Coe St. Floor 2.
Police seized ammunition, a Winchester rifle, a Denix replica revolver, a High Point firearm and a Polymer 80 firearm during the investigation.
Brown was charged with possession of a ghost gun, criminal possession of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm on four counts, possession of a high-capacity magazine, criminal possession of a pistol on two counts and criminal possession of ammunition on four counts.
Rodriguez was charged with unsafe storage of a firearm.
Brown remains in custody of the Connecticut Department of Corrections on $250,000 bond.
Brown is a convicted felon and is legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.
